Thoughts About Blogging

Hi! This is my first time blogging! Now let me share with you my thoughts about blogging. I think that blogging is an essential tool in everyone lives now. It is a useful way of expressing one's thoughts and emotions on certain issues that is quick and easy to use. However there has been a decline in interest in blogs over the past few years   partly due to the sudden rise in interest in social networking websites for example Facebook and Twitter as there is more interaction in these social networking sites than in blogs . It is also partly due to the fact that Singaporeans now prefer playing computer games to blogging which they find more interesting. However the older generation like my parents will prefer to use blogs as it more easy to use than social networking sites. For example my mother uses blogs to look at cooking recipes . She claims that Facebook is useless as it has no cooking recipes. o.O

However if we do have a blog, we must be careful on what we blog as it may have negative impacts on other people. It may result in arguements with other people. Also whatever we post on our blogs is also viewable by ANYONE in the whole world! Thus we must be careful on what we blog. We also must not reveal too much of our personal information on our blogs as people may use the information to stalk us. Still, it is perfectly fine to blog just as long as you remember to stay within the line

Overall I think that blogging is a very useful tool in our daily lives and it is a good way to spend time.
